Installation couldn’t be simpler. The perch adheres to your window with heavy duty suction cups. Two stainless steel support cables with suction cups on the end help to level out the placement of the perch and provide added support. For outdoor kitties, the kitty cot is water and weather resistant. Measuring 24”x16” the kitty cot will safely hold up to a twenty pound kitty. To help the perch adhere to the window better, I suggest you clean the window and the suction cups with rubbing alcohol, otherwise, your kitty might go for a bit of a slide if he happens to be a bit chubby. I found that out when my Maine Coon cross decided to try the perch before it was ready. (No kitties were hurt in the testing of this product).  My crew loves this perch, especially when the temperature outside starts to climb. They find the coolness of the hammock comforting and I am often witness to a cat being bumped off his sleeping spot by another who wants his turn. If you have more than two cats, I suggest you buy several of these kitty cots.  

Because you can place these kitty cots anywhere on a large window, your cat is afforded a view of the world outside that would only be possible from a more expensive kitty condo. To add to the attraction, hang a birdfeeder outside the window and give your cat double the entertainment. My crew gave this product an enthusiastic reception.
